Hans will remain involved as co-founder, board member, and shareholder in Byteflies.

At Byteflies, we will continue to pursue the same mission here in Europe: delivering hassle-free telemonitoring solutions, and expanding access to high-quality, patient-centered care. Our integrated telemetry solutions - from heart failure monitoring to ECG Holter and behind-the-ear EEG - are designed to fit effortlessly into existing healthcare workflows, prioritizing both patient comfort and caregiver efficiency. Byteflies is also actively involved in national and international clinical studies, supporting research and innovation in healthcare monitoring.

From the founders

Hans Danneels: “Ten years ago, Hans and I founded Byteflies with a shared vision: to make healthcare smarter, more human, and closer to the patient,” says Hans Danneels. “I am incredibly proud of what we achieved together: launching our platform in over 50 hospitals, creating impact for thousands of patients each month, and forging partnerships with tech leaders, pharma, hospitals, and governments. This is not the end, but the start of a new chapter - both for me personally and for Byteflies.”

Hans De Clercq adds: “Even as Hans Danneels pursues his next chapter, our mission at Byteflies remains unchanged: to make telemonitoring easier, more integrated, and more human for patients and caregivers. I want to sincerely thank Hans for his incredible dedication, vision, and partnership over the past decade. I am excited to build on the foundation we created together. Over the past year, Byteflies has shown strong growth - not only by scaling our ECG solutions, but also by expanding into additional care pathways where remote monitoring creates real value. We have already taken meaningful steps in the Belgian healthcare landscape to make transmural care a reality, and we are determined to accelerate this journey. This momentum positions us strongly for further growth in Europe and strengthens Byteflies as a partner in value-based, patient-centered care.”
